California is one of the strictest states for front window tint. Here's what you can and can't do.
Side windows behind the driver can go as dark as you like — down to 5% limo. The back glass can too, as long as the vehicle has an outside mirror on each side.
Front side windows only allow near-clear film: at least 88% light through the film, and at least 70% through glass and film together. The windshield only allows a strip across the top.
Officers can stop you for dark front windows and meter them at the roadside. The usual result is a citation that requires the film to come off.
Clear ceramic film on the fronts blocks UV and a lot of heat without darkening the glass. Pair it with dark rear tint for the look and the comfort.

Rear side windows can be any shade, and so can the back glass as long as you have an outside mirror on each side. Front side windows are strict: only near-clear film is allowed, and the glass and film together must still let through at least 70% of light. The windshield can only have a strip across the top. We'll tell you exactly what's allowed on your vehicle before any work starts.
It depends on the vehicle, how many windows you want done, the film (standard, carbon or ceramic) and whether old tint needs removing. Send us your make and model and we'll give you a fixed price with no obligation.
For most Fresno drivers, yes. Ceramic film blocks much more heat than standard dyed film, doesn't fade purple, and doesn't interfere with phone or GPS signals. With summers that regularly pass 100°F, the difference inside the car is noticeable.
A standard set of rear windows usually takes two to three hours. Larger vehicles, full cars and extras like PPF take longer. We'll give you a realistic time when you book.
Leave them up for at least two to three days while the film cures. Slight haziness or small water pockets during this time are normal and clear on their own.
Yes. We strip the old film, remove every bit of adhesive without damaging your rear defroster lines, and can re-tint the same day where time allows.
Yes — cars, trucks, SUVs and vans. Many trucks and SUVs already have dark factory privacy glass in the back, so we often match the fronts (legally) or darken the rear further.
